Reckless / Too Reckless / Massive Damage
« on: December 16, 2011, 01:01:59 PM »
With Christmas coming, I'm hoping to be getting enough $ to purchase a couple

of new balls.I haven't rolled Brunswick in many years, but am thinking of picking

up 2 of the 3 balls listed. BTM gives pretty similar rankings on the Too Reckless and

Massive Damage. Don't know about of overlap - very few people throwing any of these

in my leagues. Input please....

I have not thrown the DV8 releases, but they look great. I have thrown the Massive Damage and love it. This one performs and the coverstock  reads the lane beautifully.  I could recommend the Massive to anyone who bowls on house shots (and who doesn't?).

Lane is 100% correct about the Massive Damage, and I'm not a Brunswick staffer.  I can't compare it to the DV8, but you will be happy with the Massive Damage.

I have all three of these pieces.  All of them are great additions for anyone's arsenal.

For me, the Too Reckless is the straightest of the three, with the Reckless and Massive Damage about the same.  With that said, the Massive will out hook the Reckless if there is more friction on the lane surface.  It just plain reacts moreso to friction than the Reckless.

That, and the fact my Reckless is less angular than the Massive when compared actually gives a nice three ball combo in my bag.  Depending on the center I bowl in, these the Reckless and Too Reckless are always in my bag, with the exception of dropping in the Nexus Pearl for the Massive Damage in one of the houses I bowl in.

All three balls are layed out the same.  Can't remember the exact numbers right now.

Who needs a 300 or 800, when I have a 294 and a 295!?!?!
