Looking For a Good Gripping Ball
« on: March 10, 2006, 12:46:47 PM »
Ok i was bowling tonight and i noticed the v2 is not staying on the lane at all when im going to shoot at a 7 pin. i was looking for a good ball not just for seven pins just in general that will grip better than my v2. i am a lefty with med revs throw the ball across the 15th board at like 16mph and heavy oiled lanes. the ball doesnt neccesarley have to be the Big B but im opened to any suggestions

well from my experiences a BVP Nemesis sounds like it would fit the bill for you, OOB its great for heavier oil and really grabs early and with the PK 18 sanded cover its a great ball in heavy, i have no complaints with mine, just saying though it won't hook a ton but you can easily play outside and get good results on heavy oil and if you want a ball that can hook on heavy oil check out the BVP Goliath

I think the scorchin inferno would fit the bill for you I have one of these.  I am a lefty with high ball speed with med revs and this ball grips the most out of any ball I have with the epic battle being a close second on heavy oil.

Boy do I love bowling, stone 8,stone 9, ringer 7,fly by 10,fast six got to love this game.  Short look at what most of my games look like with a few strikes peppered in between.  Isn't it wonderful.

The Big One would work.  You could also look at a Schorchin' Inferno or a Strike Zone.
