I have had to absolutes, the first one had a lot of blue and little orange.  It rolled phenomenal, it would clear any front and read the mids really nice and just continue arc on the back.  Probably my favorite ball of all time.  I bought a second one, which had the same 3-4 inch pin and i laid it out the exact same.  It rolls a lot earlier and just stops on the back end.  The second one had almost equal orange and blue.  I have tried to tweak the cover to get the same reaction, but still no luck.  I am wondering if the color is making a huge difference in reaction or what?  I want to get another one to find out and i have noticed that the new mexico ones have more blue than orange.  Otherwise, does anyone have any recommendations for another Big B ball that will give a similar reaction, I like the TI also, but i don't want too aggressive on the back.

ok that is likely, but has anyone else had similar experiences with an AI just not clearing the front and a more hook stop reaction?

I am not trying to hijack this thread, but forgive me for a second.  I had a 44 Magnum pin-in (1"), that I absolutely loved.  Great revs off my hand, strong mid, and great carry.  I bought a second one, but it came with a 3-4" pin.  Drilled it the same pin position.  That ball was a dud.  It won't rev off my hand, and has a hook set reaction that I don't like.  I never understood why they were different, other then the pin distance.

i have an american ai and it has alot less orange than the one i just got from mexico.  i have not drilled the new one yet but i do not think the color would make a difference with the reaction.

My USA Absolute is one of the best moving balls I have. It is pretty strong, with a 5 x 3 layout...

I didn't expect as much back-end as I have, but I'll take it!

As for your balls, static weights can mean a lot. It's a dumb question but a relevant one... did your driller verify CG on the ball? Also, a ball with more games will have a track and oil absorption. You might just need to break it in more
