Anyone have the Red Pin Zone Classic and the Tropical Storm, and if so, how do they compare. I am under the impression right now that the Zone Classic is meant for drier to light oil, while the Tropical Storm is more of a light to a medium light ball. Am I correct?

Classic has much more midlane roll than the tropical. The tropical is a great ball in that it is very versatile depending on the drill. If you stack it, it is a very strong SKID/FLIP ball and the farther you move the pin and cg from pap, the weaker it gets. I drilled one with a 6.5" pin and it was AWESOME for bone dry conditions. It ignored the burnt heads and still kept enough power for the backend. The 6.5 inch pin did not do anything on a med heavy shot though. I've probably drilled 20 of these in the last 6 weeks and everyone was impressed with the performance for the price point.
