Red Pin ZC Question
« on: September 13, 2005, 08:18:13 AM »
I just got a red pin zone classic on a trade, and i absolutely love it. what i want to do is build an arsenal around it. i had the green pin, and didn't like it all that well. what i want it something just a touch stronger, and just a touch weaker than the red pin. i've got an II on the way (little stronger), any suggestions for a little weaker? i want it to move, just not as much as the red pin. thanks for any input.

That Red Pin is something, isn't it?  It's stronger than I thought it'd be, but I don't mind so much.  Yes, the Punisher would be good to fit under it, and maybe a polished Nemesis right above it.

i can't find any information as far as from brunswick about the red pin's numbers so that's why i'm a little in the dark.

thank you, i didn't even think about looking at online shops. i've got the zc dulled just a little, maybe 800, and i'm not changing it, first night i threw it i shot 290, so that'll stay that way. you think a punisher would be good? or a dry/r? also, does the intense fit just above it? i've got other stuff if you're wondering why i've got all pearls. lol.

If you want control below the Red Pin, go for the Urethane Groove. Urethane is THE coverstock for dry conditions, many people seem to think that it is outdated or so?

How about a suggestion for something between the red-pin CZ and the Rampage? I was thinking Blazing Inferno, but can not find a 15 lb blank anywhere.

Punisher or a Power Groove pearl. Personally, I'd suggest the Power Groove because it is easier to control.

Both of those go longer and later than the Red-Pin CZ. I am looking for something between the Rampage and Red-Pin CZ.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Sorry but isn't the punisher more aggressive than the red pin?
