Did Brunswick make a Rhino Pro that was red? Maybe pearl cover?

Watching an old show 1994 Great Lakes Classic. Ferraro was throwing a red brunswick. I guess it was the urethane ball.

In 1994, it's possible. The ball old have been four years old, but I can't find anything else that's red and fits close to the timeframe.

Ferraro beat Norm Duke for the title. He also beat McKune (sp) who was throwing a Gold Rhino Pro. In both games he threw the front 10.

The red ball looked like it rolled well. Could not tell what it was.

This is probably the ball you are thinking of.  It was more of a burgandy color.

Bill,

He said the tourney he watched was from 1994.  I don't think the ball you linked was around until '96.

I have a red pearl Rhino Pro sitting in my basement.  Got it in on a trade a while ago.  Was plugged once or twice.  Never saw another one.  I can post pics when I get my charger back from my g/f.

I bet it was a Critical Mass Code Red as back in that time frame Ferarro was using a lot of Track, especially the Critical Mass.

That's not it. It was a burgundy red colored ball. It was a Rhino that looked pearl to me.

I asked my brother, he said he had a red colored Rhino aroung the same time period.

Same show for sure. I assumed the ball was a Rhino because he had on a Rhino shirt.
I looked at a picture of the code red, not the same ball. I could not find a picture of the original critical mass, but I am sure you guys have it right.

Thanks

Bowlers Edge 2- you are also correct.
In that arena finals McCune had the gold rhino and one of the dark blue quantums as well
I think Morin was throwing the electrical storm
Duke- a weapon?
Soper-gold rhino?

I just looked at the video, 123bowl.com, and the PBA list of cleared equipment.
It looks like both the Red "Code Red" Critical Mass and a purple Critical Mass were cleared for PBA use in July 1994, and the tournament was in November 1994.
Looks to me like he threw the purple Critical Mass. I had a red one, and the ball on TV is too dark and purple looking to be the red one.
