pba hall of famer and brunswick pro staffer tom baker won the 2006 usbc senior masters today at the national bowling stadium in reno, nevada. baker had to do it the hard way coming through the losers bracket. baker defeated tournament leader bob kelly of dayton, ohio, 686-612, for the right to bowl for the title. in the championship final match baker again defeated kelly 645-575. is there any doubt who the best player on the pba senior tour is ? tom baker and brunswick---two winners !

Sick, just sick.  Four titles this year, two majors.  In seven events.  Seven!  And three of them back-to-back-to-back.  They're gonna just start announcing who was second place.

I watched all 3 days of matchplay. Baker was simply amazing on Thursday, winning all 7 matches. Low set of 703, high of 780+, 300 in the 2nd match. Used a combination of the Strike Zone, Absolute, and Red Zone.

On Friday, he was not as sharp, but still better than anyone else out there. Red Zone used most of the day.

He just matched up and adjusted better than the rest.
