Yeah, he probably didn't screw anything up, sounds like he's actually a good driller. Those pictures are just general reference points for people with a more common track, which seems to be about a 5-5 1/2 axis point. I drilled a ball for a friend, and we used that same layout for his Scorchin, but since his axis point is 2 1/2 over and 1 1/2 up, it ended up looking like a LEFTHANDED drill. The lower your track is, the shorter your axis will be, hence the further right your fingerholes will be. He probably had to modify it a bit though, otherwise it sounds like he'd have had to drill out the pin or it would have been your bridge . . which is not a good thing.
