Depends on what it's doing.  What's the base grit?  OOB at 400+polish?  I think 2000-grit sanded will be similar in hook potential but slightly smoother.

Mine actually had a better roll when I went with Brunswicks ruff buff.

1st you say "it was 2000 grit then i shined it and its at 600 grit shined" then you say; "its OOB and i want it to go longer than wut it is doing". You just totally contradicted yourself with that statement. OOB of a red zone I thought was 400 grit rough buff.

Honestly, we need a video of your style rolling the red zone of at least 4-5 shots to get a feel of your form before anyone can really say this will work better then that.

400-grit plus polish, not RB.  600-grit polished (same polish?) should be a little longer.  You could go up to 1000-grit polished to get extra length.  I think 2000-grit sanded will be earlier or at least smoother in spite of the higher sanding finish.

i hit my dads with a used grey pad (800-1000) and it made a huge differnce. it picked up earlier as expected but still made the turn in the oil. it also smoothed out the breakpoint if fed to the dry. it deffinetly made the ball more versitle, and available for more use.
