Brunswick Ringer Platinum Pearl Reaction Video, also compared to the original Ringer Burgundy Pearl. both were pretty close, the new Platinum have a bit more back end reaction.

This video proves the difference between new releases and old ones is getting smaller and smaller.  Sorry but a one board difference is not enough to make me spend my dough.  IMO, the platinum did not need to be released.
Long Gone also posts the honest truth which is why i respect him. He posts these things knowing some may not like it.

I will say this.  The total hook on our test pattern was very similar.  The Platinum is definitely cleaner thru the fronts and a much stronger flip down lane.  On the fresh pattern they do seem similar.  I'm going to do a test hopefully this week on a broken down shot and see what the differences are.  I really do think that on the dry stuff the Platinum will get down the lane much better than the original Ringer.

As the lanes transition and dry out the Burgundy Ringer should show it's strength more. That's what I've seen thus far.  Every ball needs to find some friction before changing direction, so on the fresh they will find it at the same spot on the lane (roughly).  My Burgundy Ringer has surprised me at it's strength. I just had to wear a little of that extreme shine from the factory off, then it woke up big time.

Both balls are exceptional options for me.  The Platinum is a little more angular and a couple boards with my feet closer to the friction though.  Lotta ball(s) for the money!

My driller went to the seminar recently and said the Burgundy rolls earlier with less backend... more along the lines of the traditional Brunswick roll.  That is certainly my experience, and I love my Burgundy.  As a lower revs/speed stroker, this is a great medium oil ball.

My friend, who is a high revs/speed guy, just ordered  Burgundy for light oil.  My driller recommended it over the Platinum as he said the Platinum would get too much length.

Anyway, thanks for another quality vid Jason!
