Classic Zone vs. Absolute Inferno
« on: March 21, 2005, 08:42:24 AM »
Probably bee posted before several times, but it would take me 2 days to find it.

Both have the Activator coverstock I think, both have lower RG's and similar RG Differenial's... so as far as length, backend, and oil handling capability... what's the difference?

The one major difference, is that the zone classic is asymmetric and the AI is symmetric.....So the drilling differences are obvious there.  But otherwise, the AI has activator Plus, which is slightly stronger than regular.  The AI will "want" to be slightly earlier/smoother than the classic due to core design as well.  The AI *should* be able to handle some more oil in box (rough buff as compared to high gloss, as well) with the stronger cover, but it's not a heavy oiler.

Hope that helps some.  But the main difference in a decision is if you want asymmetric or symmetric.

so far what has been posted is exactly spot on, only thing to add is the absolute is a strong ball in the midlane and the backend is bigger in the backends.

classic = activator w/ asymmetric core
AI = activator + w/ symmetric core
these balls compliment each other well i believe... when the absolute becomes too much and jumpin too early the classic is a great goto ball... gets down the lane further and is smooth... for me my absolutes roll strong in the midline and pop in the back... both balls are must haves :-D
