Revolver Drilling.....
« on: March 11, 2013, 08:53:32 PM »
Just picked up a NIB Revolver and was wondering how you would drill it.  My current line-up is as follows:
Roto Grip Outlaw Pin Down
Ebonite Mission X Pin up with hole
Brunswick Total Inferno Pin Down
Track 715T Pin Up
900Global Long Shot Pin Up

Looking for something that goes longer than my Mission X and has more angle than my 715T and Long Shot......Thoughts?

The revolver is not angular at all and if you polish it to go longer than the mission x it will still be smooth and won't cover s many boards as a 715t.

The Revolver has a very strong cover, and thus will be pretty smooth for most.  Try a pin above fingers layout, maybe 4 1/2" to 5" from PAP, then don't be afraid to polish if needed to give it a little more angle late.  Overall you should expect a smooth ball that handles some volume.

It is a great ball for slower ball speed players. For most average bowlers it isnt a big hooking ball. It is a bit speed sensitive. I drilled mine with a 3" pin to pap and large p3 x-hole. It rolls good but requires me to really keep my speed down a little or it will not read the break point and go too long. I love the ball at box finish.
