Absolute layout
« on: July 29, 2005, 07:12:08 AM »
Looking for a reaction to get through the heads rather easily, check up a little in the midlane, and arc hard through the backend.

Ball specs are 3.1 oz. TW, 1-2" pin.

I was thinking of perhaps going with a pin under ring, CG kicked out, weight hole just under my midline.  OOB finish.  I was thinking pin under would prevent the ball from squirting by letting it check in the midlane, and would also help the ball charge hard through the backend (not go long and flip, that's what my Smokin' will be used for...)

Any thoughts/concerns/suggestions?

PAP is right around 5" over, about a 1/2" up...speed is about 16 mph...RPM, well, never been measured EXACT, but i'd say i'm medium to high revs.

Pin under the bridge will give you a little extra ease through the heads, but still check in the midlane.  A low weighthole will help with the arc reaction on the backend.
