Lol, the drilling was included . . She's freakin weird though. She doesn't like getting stuff, she likes giving, and she was happier than I was about the whole deal, it made her happy that I was happy. She's not dramatic. She can kinda bounce off the walls and get emotional in a heartbeat, but she goes out of her way to stop a fight, doesn't look for a reason to get an attitude, and goes out of her way to make sure something that might be a misunderstanding doesn't turn into a fight. And if we argue about something and I have a point, she apologizes and we make up . . And as far as what I do for her, apparently I treat her better than anybody she's ever been with by a long shot, so that's what's doing the trick. Lol anyway, about the ball.
Part of the reason she got me the Blast was that I gave her a couple balls. Gave her a Special Agent, which she doesn't really use anymore since I gave her my Radical Inferno. I had overlap with it, and it's great for her. The Avalanche rolls a lot like it, just longer and stronger and less hook overall. The Ultra was really out of the blue though. Might need some surface work, it's a little too sharp for my taste, I like hard arc, so my pro shop guy suggested 1000 abralon which is probably what I'll do. I've got enough games on it for it to develop a track, and on our synthetic shot, it's pretty dry, so I found out today that it burns energy quicker than I'd like on the transition at this particular house. Plus on the other shot I bowl on, it's 41 feet of a lot of oil then sharp backends, could be an over/under nightmare or make carry fun, so just need to smooth it out a bit.
Every once and a while you get a ball that seems to really pack that extra punch at the pins. No, I'm not talking about a Lane 1 ball . . but this ball does that for me. If I can keep it in enough oil down the lane to keep it from reading too much dry too quick, it really makes the pins explode. My Blast is the best control ball I've ever had, and I think my Ultra is going to be the best shot abuser I have. The Blast keeps me ahead on tighter shots, and my Ultra definitely has the hit to keep me ahead on carry contests too. Lol, now I have to decide which balls aren't going to Nationals with me . . I have balls I don't think I'll use, but that I absolutely know I can't leave at home. Lol, what a sad dilemma.
