Must have ball of the year!!! Versa-Max
« on: March 10, 2012, 11:58:23 AM »
I have two drilled up! One is pin up and the other and favorite is pin down!!! This ball isn't made for heavy oil, but medium to med/hvy and this ball is money!! The predictable motion with easy length is amazing even with the pin down! After using these two I'm planning on getting a third and they will be the most used balls that I've ever owned! If you don't have a Versa-Max in your bag, you need to get one!! If you have one in your bag, then why just one? Very versatile ball with the ability to play multiple conditions and angles, just don't be aftaid to change the surface!!! Just my $.02, Bruce

Exactly Brandon Riley!!! I've drilled balls that I really didn't care for and I've let others roll them and they loved them!! I liked the Revolver and Loaded Revolver better than the Lethal Revolver. I liked the C Sys 3.5 better than the Alpha Max, and really liked the Ulti-Max!!! The Karma for the money is one of the best balls on the market at a entry level price point!! The Versa-Max is stronger and doesn't cost an arm and a leg!! A tank of gas is costing about as much as a Karma!!! lol

Hello all,

Can anyone compare the Versa Max to the Reckless with the same drill? I am trying to decide between these two and would like to know the differences between them.

Reckless is earlier rolling and more of an arc shape.  More Danger Zone/Inferno like roll

The Versa has a little more length and flip in the backend.

They hook about the same amount

Second what Brandon said, Versamax is cleaner than the Reckless, more backend on the Versamax, more of control arc on the Reckless....which is the only reason why I still have mine, CONTROL....it's the only thing it does and it does it well.
