Thinking about that pin in palm, cg 45 degree layout on an Impulse or Classic Zone.

The Absolute with that setup is UNREAL!

What is going to be more important here since the PSA will most likely end up below my VAL? I'm assuming the layout is geared more towards symmetrical core balls? Wouldn't wanna pop an x-hole right thru the PSA, curious here to your input.

Hmmm, Locally we originally called that drilling "Johnny-weights", as Johnny Petraglia used them quite a bit in the 1990s, when dynamic cored balls became popular.

Out of curiosity, what does the reaction look like on all three of those balls with these setups?

What will this do because I'm very interested. It sounds like a Predator Sparkle I drilled up some years ago and I loved the reaction.

Skurred - bad word = scared

I don't like drilling through markings if I can avoid it. Shifting and pitching sounds like a better idea.

I didn't want to do another Impulse because I want something a 1-2 punch with my Absolute. I reckon the CZ will give me that extra couple feet when I need it!

Ok, the ball is mapped, 2" pin, PSA 45degrees, that puts the CG almost dead right of the center of grip. With 3.2 TW, I shouldn't have to take too much weight out, I just don't think there will be much of a variance between thumb/finger. By drilling a sizeable hole through the PSA, it may shift finger weights over 1oz.

I have to have at least a 1" hole 3" deep to get the cheater reaction, yes?

The ring finger is drilled 2 1/2" deep roughly, so is the thumb to fit the slug, but I could take a little more weight out of the middle finger by going deeper with a smaller bit.

The other 15s here have longer pins and higher tops, this one is my best bet. (none have inline pin, cg, psa's)

If I can't get the weights legal, I'll just send the ball to A_AK57. (don't hold your breathe Andy!)
