O.K., it's January. Where's the Avalanche?
« on: January 08, 2008, 01:40:29 PM »
Didn't someone say they had been pushed back to January?  Supposed to have been last year at first, then pushed back.

Does anyone know if these are coming anytime soon?

I was told mid-late Feb now.  I'd to like to know.  Been waiting for these since August.  Plutos, Venus, and Neptunes are killing at this price point with no competition in sight.  We shall see who remains victorious in the monster ball under $130 category.

DP3,

  Mid/late FEB!?

Funny, they managed to bring out the twisted without much advanced notice, but can't seem to get affordable league balls out, even though they were in last years book, for months and months and months and.........ever?

The pro staffers were hoping they were going to be on the truck at the start of the second half. As far as I know they are suppose to come out in late JAN. I will see if they have gotten on the truck yet though.

I am going to put up for sale today, 2 14# Legends/Lanemaster balls and as soon as I can afford it, replace them with at least 2 Brunswick balls. I plan to start with the Twisted Fury for my first ball. What ball would compliment the Twisted Fury? I bowl mostly on medium oil and a bit on both sides of medium, clean and stripped lanes and lanes with carry down, but never anything close to heavy oil. I already have a ball for dry lanes.

What is the Avalanche?

Blast Zone for fresher lane conditions, Twisted to back it up when they break down.

Avalanches will be medium-low rg, low diff with PK18 and PowerBoost Pearl cover.

Thanks Nick.....First I've just got to have that Twisted Fury though. Can't get it off my mind....

What conditions will the Avalanche be for Nick?

Neither will be for any kind of volume. Both will be best suited for slightly broken down shots, with the Pearl for drier conditions.
