Med-Heavy oil?

I have an original Twisted Fury with the pin 3 3/8inch below the fingers with my pap being 4 inch to the right and a 1/2 inch up and i need something more. I was kinda between either Twisted fury solid of the original CELL. I like to play anywhere around 15 swinging it to straight up 10 anything inside 20 not to comfortable. i throw the ball about 15mph not sure about revs but for sure speed dominate.So im just asking between those 2 which one fits better and what kind of of drill exact #'s? thanks for you opinions.

The Cell is a better choice than the TF Solid.  However, if you want to stay Brunswick, you may want to look at the MAXX Zone with a label drilling.  I am not sure as to your axis point which would give a better ldea to a layout.  But, comparing the numbers, the length of the MAXX is lower than the TF Solid which means the MZ is going to roll sooner which will give you help when TF Pearl is not enough.

I prefer the Maxxx to the Twisted Solid. It may be just that I match up better with the Maxxx, but I also feel it's more versatile.

just an outside opinion, but my blast zone is a great ball for the heavier stuff. i have it drilled with a 5" pin up @ 1000 abralon. just a thought

I've been wanting the Blast Zone, but i've been hearing mixed reviews about it. Why is their so much controversy concerning it?

i dont know exactly, i think it was just a real hit or miss ball. just like the radical inferno, which is another ball i enjoyed. they gave the blast zone the axe pretty quick, but i think it was a HIGHLY overlooked ball. for me, its always my go-to ball on anything heavy, shot pretty well with it at the USBC open this last year.

If you wanted to stay with Brunswick, and get a ball from the current lineup, I would go with a Copperhead over the Twisted Fury Solid.  The Copperhead comes in at 800 grit sanded (but can be adjusted to your liking), and has a much less angular breakpoint shape than the TFS.  Since you are not speed dominant, this will give you a smooth read coming out of the oil, and help eliminate some over / under reaction and lessen the tendency of the ball to "squirt" in the oil.

As far as drilling recommendation goes, I would go with a pin under setup just because you want the ball for heavy oil, and this will keep the ball more rolly, and less skid / flip.  I would keep the pin to PAP distance to 4" or less, and leave room static weight wise so that you can fine tune your ball reaction with a weight hole if needed.  Good luck.

IME the Twisted Solid is a nearly ideal complement to the original Twisted.  I've found that, on conditions where original Twisty is either too pushy or doesn't read the lane quite enough, I can go to the Solid, and get a shape that's earlier enough to give me the look that I need.  The Solid is probably the best ball in the bag for me when I have to even out a front-to-back wet dry, or when I need the right mix of power and controllability on longer patterns.

The Maxxx is a good option as well, but for me it tends to want to be straighter in front and much sharper off the friction than the Twisty Solid.  The Maxxx may be worthy of consideration if you're looking to play on flatter tournament-type conditions, and you need that extra kick off of the end of the pattern.

As for the Copperhead, I keep hearing about how well it handles volume, but I've never seen it--not from mine, and not from the ones that I've seen my fellow staffers throw.  However, as with everything, your mileage may vary.
