Rico1, Rico2 I know nothing about Rico...Sorry!

But I have seen this drilling diagramed on the Insiders website.

Any coverstock, ie pearl particle etc.

Why well to me this looks like a pretty early drilling and most of the centers I bowl at and though the shot is lighter it is also longer therefore a lot pearls are used.

It looks like a longer version of a revs leverage drilling.  (You know 3 3/8 X 3 3/8 but pin and cg shifted down and a weighthole like this on the val and down.

Here are some questions.

1. Are people using it on over under on the sides type of patterns.
2. Are people putting on all surfaces ie pearl, particle, reactive solid ad the new non particle particles(ie activator)?
3  Are some people making a slight variation by putting their pin down slightly from the bridge and angling everything like the pictured drilling with pin on grip center?  Reason I ask is even inside I can not usually find enough au jus to throw any stronger coverstocks.

Thank you BrunsRich for the explanation.

As a medium rev or more revs than speed type of player playing on low volume of oil with a trememdous harsh transition between the 10 to 10 to the outside dry would this be for me.  Other wet drys I successfully throw from in the oil out to 5 or wider and tear em up.  This transition is so harsh some of my pearls even bounce when playing 15 to 3 (it feels like it should go in the gutter at 30 feet, it doesn't and sometimes strikes).

If the word bounce can be used to describe the situation it is accurate.

Some strong players don't even bother with the outside dry they just throw to the dry at the end of the pattern and use strong pearls that catch enough of the pocket to strike!

Does Rico maybe fit this shot?

PS the guys that are beating me on this shot would be described as up the back,  or higher speed or less hand!

A little more... I just watched the roll to Riches on pattern E.

I thought without all the polish and finesse and ability that when I watched Danny Wiseman on this pattern E that I was watching my home league shot and the small misses that he made leading to crossovers, 7 pins and non carries all look just like me on the left of our pattern.

Note one of his few strikes was about on the 2 board on the break.  That's my only place to carry at what I call the bounce house.

It's tough to more than double.

Maybe too much side roll here too, but Barnes sure has the shot for it!

Rico as a solution??
