intense inferno vs. OI?
« on: September 27, 2008, 04:28:06 PM »
alright, here's the deal. i just won a very low mileage, single drill Intense Inferno off of Ebay. it's drilled pin straight above the ring finger, with a pin-to-PAP distance of just about 4 inches on the nose. surface is OOB grit, with a coat of polish.

But, in my current arsenal is an Original Inferno, drilled pin straight BELOW the ring finger. once again,  pin-to-PAP distance is right at 4 inches. surface is straight OOB.

how do you think these two balls will stack up to each other in terms of oil-handling, reaction shape, length, etc??

any help is greatly appreciated

I own both of these balls. Same drill on both of them which is pin above and to the right of ring finger. The Intense Inferno is a lot longer down the lane and for me handles a little more oil than the OI. A lot of people will say that the OI is stronger but for me the II is a few boards stronger. The Intense is also a little more angular and tends to snap harder than the original. If I had to pick between these two I would definetly pick the Intense though, it's my favorite inferno Brunswick made. I hope this helps you out.
