Just want to know can we apply rough buff to ball by hand ? Is a ball spinner necessary ? Thanks...

You can... but it takes time and lots of muscle, ant it will probably not be as even as with a spinner. But you cannot do much wrong.

Thanks dizzyfugu, I might just try using hands cause over here only the Pro shop have spinner. And to make things worse, the Pro shop that I bowled don't even provide after sales service like re-con, polishing etc etc.. sad.

If you have access, you might also use a power drill (battery or with a bus bar) with a polish cap to aplly the stuff on a fixed ball. Speeds things up considerably, and the result is almost as good as with a spinner.
