What's your views on the Ultimate Inferno

I am just curious because I hear people talk about this ball dies . And I know that all balls like this one soak up oil . You have to get the oil out to get that reaction . I have one being drilled at my proshop . He told me also, when you clean it, use the little scotch pad you get in the store.Anyone know about this procedure? I know that before I come home from league, I take 10 min and clean the balls that I used . The ball is being drilled aggressive . I know when there is oil, put it out there . Maybe third game bag it .
Let me know , if you like yours and do you clean yours everytime you use it. How many games you have on it . Thank you

I've got about 55 games on mine, ball has shown no less of a reaction as when I first got it.  It's a great ball, and I clean it after every set.  I don't really see the condition past the first game where I really need to use it, that's why it has so few games, then I go to the absolute.

I know some bowlers do even clean there equipment often, then they say ball died.

excuse the typo.
Some bowlers do not clean there balls often, then say the ball died .

I've always cleaned mine after every set and experienced no loss of reaction whatsoever. In fact, it seems stronger than it was before. Activator is a great coverstock one of the best out there.

Don't worry, a good friend of mine who has about 150 games on his Ultimate, noticed that it wasn't performing the way it used to, so he had his pro shop bake his ball in a rejuvinator 3 times, now his ball is better than ever.  He is also the same type of person that cleans his equipment after every set.  Activator is one of if not the best coverstock out right now, it is durable, & easily adjustable.  Don't worry about the ball too much, keep track of how many games you have on it, then after about 90 or so, bake it, that's what Brunswick recommends.  Remember, some where around the second game you will need to change equipment, the Ultimate is no good on dry.  Good Luck.

my ultimate inferno doesn't soak up more oil than any other reactive ball i've got. it also hasn't "died". this is a very aggressive reactive resin ball-----one of the most aggressive on the market. it needs oil in the heads to do it's job on the backend.

I have watched Kingpin268 throw his on many occasions which include his tie high game of 279 (1=Ultimate 2=Absolute) and high series of 719. I am jealous and want one.

I also like how versatile the cover is being that you can change the surface prep. very easily without hassle. Doesn't show much signs of wear either save a few shallow scratches here and there.

Spend the $16 and get some of Doc's Elixir. Any of the higher end reactives and particles for oil can only benefit from this stuff. Have used it now for quite a few years on all my solid balls and never seen any issues. I do have a Chaos that has lost some POP but thats more attributed to wood lanes and about 500-600games. Like other have said be aware of what your bowling on. Half of the people i hear who say it dies can't tell the difference in conditions when the oil is not in the correct place to play this ball. Wait to see how your line-up matches up before buying something else, its pretty rounded out. Remember don't be afraid to play with cover prep.

The Ultimate is the best ball I've ever had. I've had it for
about a year now with hundreds of games on it and its still
an excellent ball. Sure its reaction isn't as strong as when I
first bought it, but it still carries everything!
I rolled my only 300 and 800 with it, and I'm still rollin 700s
with it. Get one while they're still available!
