Hey nation, i got a scholarship tourney in 2 weeks in
Florence, SC. The point is i need a ball that goes really
long and can play left of the 5th arrow. I bowled here
last year a did alright...They have wood land that are super
old and the oil just soaks right into them as the block
is bowling. I bowled last year with a Storm Depth Charge polished
to ying-yang and it was still too much after 6-7 games.
Bowled on a THS probably 35-37 feet and we we bowl about 16 games
including 1/2 of match play.
Need a ball that i can play way way left with a sling
it out watch it come back...scores are usually high....

Move left, hook it more.....

Sounds like you want a Punisher. If things dry out more, get a red pin Classic Zone. You won't get to cover as many boards, but it will handle very dry conditions much better.

Or a Dry/R.

The Dry/R probably won't be angular enough from that deep. It is a very slow reacting cover for me, much smoother than I expected. You would never carry the corners from deep with it.
The Punisher, on the other hand, is an extremelly snappy ball, but also alot stronger than advertised. If you have the speed for it, than it would be a great choice if drilled appropriately. I personally did not have the speed for it, and it flew too hard off the dry for my game. If you can skid it through the heads, than it should be perfect.
