Scorchin Inferno simply scorchin
« on: February 24, 2006, 11:37:16 PM »
So I wanted a symmetrical dull ball that I could drill for length with a lot of flair:  Since I hate Columbia balls due to the overall arcy nature of the balls I got a scorchin...my second attempt at the Big B (Ultimate Inferno was my first, after I revamped my game last year had zero place for it due to new style and PAP).

Stats: 5 1/8" by 3/4" up PAP, pin to cg distance 3", pin 1/2" above the ring and slightly to the centerline.  CG in my centerline.

This ball is VERY powerful the first time I threw it I was shocked by it.  Even though I had the ball drilled to go fairly long, this ball still wants to rev in the midlane.  The ball is extremly controllable and has a beautiful turn to the pocket.

Negatives: I didnt carry with this ball as much as my seek and destroy due to angle to the pocket.  Also a little phasing on the surface of the ball but I was told this was normal for this ball.

Overall great ball cant wait to throw it at state in Anderson, IN
