I have drilled out a few Radical's for customers and they have had no problems with the ball. The ball goes as long as the Smokin, but has s stronger backend. Remember, you need dry backends to make these balls work. If you use any ball on the wrong condition, you will have problems. I also drilled mine with the pin above the fingers. It performs as advertised, goes long with a strong backend. But beware, if this ball even smells oil, it will go too long.
