First off, I'd like to say that I'm mainly a Storm guy but I'm always looking at other companies. I don't have much brand loyalty, just like to throw what works. Brunswick stuff usually reads way too early for me. Hooks to much if I square up, and never makes the corner when I move in. I have a very high rev rate and pretty high ball speed.
Got a chance to throw the new Brunswick stuff at the Demo Day in Vernon Hills, IL yesterday. I tested the C System, Wild Card, and Python. I had thrown the Siege and Wild Thing, Wild Ride previously. The Siege was OK, and the WT and WR were awful for me.
I was extremely impressed by the Wild Card. This ball game me a great midlane read with predictability out of the pattern and heavy roll through the pin deck. I can see this being a real winner on harder patterns assuming there is adequate volume in the fronts and mids. I can't wait to drill my first Big B ball in quite some time.
For those asking about the C-System... the ball rolled at 30 feet for me. In it's defense, I rarely like asymmetrical cores AND the ball was drill too strong for me. I should have tested the lefty drill of the ball. I think it might be good for straighter players with higher speeds and/or a lower rev rate.
