Pin axis drilling - candidate ball??
« on: August 16, 2006, 03:37:08 AM »
Hi Nation,

I want to drill one of my balls PIN AXIS to see what my reaction  will be I'm looking for a drilling which will give me a heavy rolling ball with a small hook.
Which would be a better candidate ball? A reactive (like the Frensy) or a particle ball (like the Quantum Denim)  Appreciate your comments and advise.

A sanded ball like the wizard would work.

I like to pin 1-2" drillings in assymetrical balls like the Red Zone.

Ric,  Thanks for the imput.  I don't have any balls with that pin configuration so I will shelf that idea for now. I just purchased a new Brunswick Ambush, 12lbs 3.5 '' pin with a top o 2.5.  My problem is ball speed..I'm 72 now with an artificial hip and my ball speed is down to about 14.5 mph according to the CATS here in Florida.  I need a drilling that wiill calm down the back-end reaction.  I was thinking of pin 5 and 3/4 from my PAP with pin over bridge and the cg about an inch right of center.  Will this work or do you have other ideas??

Thanks,  Dr "C"
