Strike Zone success

Threw my Strike Zone in our singles event for the local Association tournament today. 239-277-290 806. It is my first ball out of the bag at that house. Such a nice roll with it. Awesome ball.

Great shootin'.
I hope Brunswick NEVER quits making this ball, but someday they will and I might have to snatch a few more of them.

Thanks, guys. I got this baby used. It is definitely a ball that is over looked by many. It seems the Infernos and BVP balls get their due, but some of the Zones really don't. It is an great ball that is not too sensitive to slight changes in release. Forgiving roll and strong hit. I know three people with them drilled and they all love them.

Mine's one of the best I've thrown. Wish I had a closet full!

Nice Shootin' Dan! I agree with you though, I think all the Zone's are a little overlooked. Granted, the reactions are nothing spectacular with my classic and red zone, but the forgiveness, hit, carry, i'm VERY happy with the two zone's that i've got.

You are right, there is nothing spectacular about the ZONE line. But what it gives you is a predictable reaction over and over again.

BOWLING IS FUN NO MATTER WHAT YOU SCORE. BUT A 300 IS ALWAYS NICE.

STRIKE ZONE, ONSLAUGHT, REVS, FLIP & PYRO. STAND 22 AND THROW 10 OUT TO 5 AND CRUSH THE POCKET. AT LEAST THAT IS THE PLAN OF THE NIGHT...

GOOD LUCK AND GOOD BOWLING!!!

So happy to see this thread...

Over a year ago I bough a Strike Zone and instantly thought it was the best ball ever made!  The ball seems to never stop hooking and is VERY versatile - don't let the dull coverstock fool you.
As time went on I found that it had to be one of the most Under-Rated balls ever made.  Due to the Ultimate Inferno success it seems that it was overlooked by many.

And yes, I just had to buy another one for when they do decide to discontinue it (the only ball so far that I have purchased twice).

Next on the re-purchase list, the Ebonite Total NV!
--------------------
Brunswick preferably, but always open to others!!

Two Brunswick Strike Zones
One Brunswick Danger Zone
One Brunswick Plastic Rhino
One Hammer Doom Raw Hammer
One Ebonite Total NV
One AMF Maximum Velocity
One Rotogrip Super Sonic
One Columbia Messenger Ti/Pearl

...all in league rotation
