Closest to the Intense Inferno
« on: May 15, 2009, 02:43:53 AM »
Of the new releases, or something a bit older that you can still get your hands on, what would be closest in reaction to the Intense Inferno.

A buddy of mine loved his and is looking for something comparable (if that is possible).

Thanks.

If he throws 15# I know of a place that has one NIB still...

If that's not what he's after the II was on the Big B comparison chart at O-7.  The three closest pieces to that spot on the chart right now are the Rattler, the Twisted Fury, and the Twisted Fury Destruction.

Of the three J Mac mentioned I'd say the Rattler is closest based solely on my experience with them. The Intense Inferno was a cool ball.

I replaced my INTENSE with the FURY PEARL. I did move the pin 3/4 of an inch further away and moved the VIRTUAL MB to strong position. NASTY backend! I leave more 9 pins and I've even left pocket STONE 7-9 splits. I just changed the finish to 2000 abralon. I have one NIB for when this one dies. GOOD LUCK!

IMHO, a Rattler or a Smach Zone.
