From Power Groove to???
« on: March 31, 2008, 02:46:23 AM »
I may need to buy a new ball.  Right now I use the Power Groove and a Target Zone.

What would be a good, solid Brunswick ball for a tweener that like to go up the right hand side of the lane and snap in to the pocket?

The only balls in my hands are Brunswicks.

Rampage or Fury pearl or Twisted Fury...

If you mean solid reactive cover, they don't generally "snap" to the pocket, but are more smooth. You could try The Ultra Zone (hybrid) and have some success.  Good luck.

My first choice would also be the Rampage, if you play medium conditions and look for an overall stronger alternative to the PG - or a Wizard, if you want an oil ball as a complementary piece to the PG above it. IMHO no need for an expensive high end ball, the BVPs offer a very good price/value ratio and any performance above the PG you might ask for.
