Step Down?

I currently have a Wild Ride (see drilling in profile).  This is my medium to light medium ball.  My question is:  Would a Twisted Fury Destruction drilled 5 1/2 (pin high)X 6 1/2 with the surface taken to 2000 and polished be a step down.  I am looking for a medium dry to drier piece of equipment, and I love the way this core hits.  I already own a black and green avalanche, and I don't really care for the way that I have it drilled, so rather than plug the avalanche, I would prefer to sell it and drill the Destruction (which I can get pretty cheap).  Any feedback would be great.

Yes the Destructin would be a step down. The Destruction has a similar ball motion, less downlane and pretty close in the fronts.

An original Twisted fury i think would be a better choice smooth out the back but still a good pop. From all the destructions i drill non of the really impressed me.

The Twisty D could work in that spot.

One of my Summer league teammates carried a Wild Ride and a Destruction in his bag, and went to the Twisty D when the Wild Ride started to burn early.  For him, it looked like the two pieces were about five-and-three apart overall.

Just to update, the TFD is a wonderful step down from the WR.  This is easily one of the best combos that I have thrown in awhile.  Your feedback was appreciated!
