got this from his own web site blog...

i like my fans to know that i will be free agent starting may 1st.
now i feel like i will have better chance to do well in every tournament i bowl. my hands will not be tight to just one of kind reaction and i can use whatever will give me best look that day!
i like to thank john bravata from bbc equities for that opportunity because without help from bbc eguities i could not do this move.

If that helps clear anything..

On the main topic, I wish Mika well. I guess with his free agency, he can always come back to throw the Wild Thing and Seige.

I like Brunswick a bunch, but I'd rather see Mika have more success on tour than he had last season.  If that's with another company,  so be it.

As was mentioned already, just because he's no longer on staff doesn't mean he won't throw Big B if he feels that is his best chance to match up.

There is several posts about this topic that disappeared. I wonder what happened to them???? I'm sure the Modulators didn't delete any because there are no Modulators on BR so it seems.

If I recall right, there was a second page to this topic this morning and tonight there were only 21 posts prior to this post.

Off topic posts were deleted.  So what? Happens on other manufacturer forums all the time.

I've seen many entire topics deleted for going way off topic, whether from the OP or the moderators, but I can't remember seeing selective off topic (not counting swearing/racist type remarks) posts selectively removed.

If that is the case, then someone explain why the off topic posts in the Lane 1 forum is allowed to be continually trashed constantly by the same people almost daily and there is no deletion of their posts in that forum....

Mika left Brunswick staff after the end of the PBA season, and was planning on doing so since the Dick Weber Open to my knowledge.  He wasn't having huge success with the Bruns equipment and wanted to explore more since his contract was up.  He already has a very lucrative contract with the BBC company that is on his shirts, so money was a small detail of leaving.  He will be a free agent for next season, at least at this point in the game.  Never know what could change.

wannabe, yes, we are continuing to improve every day down in our new plant and you won't see them making boats and/or pool tables down there anytime soon.

And, PBA lane conditions often favor one brand of ball over another based on volumes of oil and distances. It just happens. We now have a couple balls that can combat those conditions that weren't favoring us in the past. We should be able to match up with ALL their conditions now.

Don't count on finding any "Half Price" deals anytime soon on these balls.

You can do that too if that floats your boat. Hell, several of the balls I have in my arsenal came from that list. Every company has blems, and with the standards we have set, we will always have those balls that don't live up to that standard as a first quality ball, so we will always have factory seconds, that's just part of the manufacturing processes for all ball companies.
