Simple question to the Bruswick guru's ..
 

I have the Nexus Pearl.  It is a skid flip ball but when the heads start going, it gets very rolly and can get over/under.  I assume this is since the cover is stronger.

 

Is there a ball in the lineup that offers less up front and more downlane with less cover?  ..something higher RG perhaps???

I'd assume that the new Karma with the Activator+ covers would fit your bill for a flippy med-condition piece under the Nexus Pearl. Pin above the fingers, CG stacked, simple and sharp.

 These r not new balls but the loaded revolver and wild thing were skid flippy for me.both pin up layouts.

New Karma Pink/Purple Pearl. For me, it creates very sharp downlane motion. And the bonus is that it just plain looks good! For reference, mine is 5" pin to pap with 30 deg val angle.

 The new Karma Pink/Purple would be your best choice.   If you need a little stronger ball the new Versamax would be a good choice.   Although its not skid flip, it clears the heads and recovers well as the lanes start to break down.

To echo what others have said, my Karma Purple/Pink clears the fronts really easy then checks up hard on the backend. Just put your favorite symmetrical pin-up layout and you'll get the motion you're looking for. The Versa-Max will be slightly stronger and a little softer motion with more continuation. So if you get the Karma and ever decide you want have a similar shape but fill the gap between the Nexus Pearl and the Karma, then the Versa would be the obvious choice.

I find the UltiMax to be quite angular for me.  It is definitely more angular than the Nexus Pearl, and I have them drilled with the same layout.

The Ulti will give you all the backend that you will ever want and has the teeth to let you get deep, but still carry the corners.  It is high rg and very clean through the front.
