i was wanted to know how u like you impulse zone the layout and a video of how it rolled . Im thinking bout getting 1 for next season let me know

LAYOUT

Works great for me when the backends are flying, shined up, it becomes a more versatile ball for house patterns.

no dis-respect here...but....pin above bridge, psa in the strong position (for the most part) helps w/ flying backends?

or am I reading this wrong?

It is a low load particle with a weighole so that should smoothen out the pattern.  I've seen a few Impulses smoothen out fresh backends.  Attribute it to Activator Particle.  That's a great coverstock.

....now only if they made an N'Control based low load particle.  Can you say Smmmmooooooooth?

ANYTHING particle for me will smooth out backends, this one has a nice X-hole on my PAP. It is also great for shorter patterns in general when I need less in the backend.

jeffrevs how can you forget coverstock is most important, layout secondary. cg making up a ultimately small percentage of reaction.

Tim, I didn't ....but have you seen Nick's videos...the guy shreds the ball...so I thought....that drill, that speed, that many revs = snap.....but didn't look at the whole equation.....

If you watch his video for the Impulse it's obvious the thing is smooth from many different angles lol.  Maybe you should have watched it first?

I'm pretty sure everyone in this thread can attest to saying that the low load particle can smooth out the reaction regardless of drilling, and when you put an X-hole on the PAP, you get an even smoother reaction.  To the original poster, I would get the ball, it's an awesome piece by brunswick, and I think they should use the Activator Particle cover more.  

You can't just attribute a layout to what the ball is going to do, that's only a tweak of the reaction.  I could drill a Goliath with the Pin over the bridge, C.G in palm, that doesn't mean it's going to go long and make a left turn lucy(but then again, in my hands....it might be interesting)

no one is arguing ....re-read my original post...it's directly related to what Nick said and I explained what I meant in post 2.  He said this ball is good for when backends are flying....that's what prompted my original comment, so a lane condition was ALWAYS a part of this......

far too much discussion about this for such a miniscule comment
