Yeah really BRunswick stuff goes early and loses energy were the sonics skid and save all energy. My sonic solid hits harder than any brunswick ball. Try a sonic boom u will be amazed at the HIT
I normally don't get nasty, but that comment is just ignorant. Dstanek asked which was better. If you haven't thrown both or even seen them side by side with the same drill shut up! By far the most ignorant comment I have seen in awhile.

I have both the Sonic X solid and the Slayr. Yesterday I did extensive testing on torched lanes. The Sonic is drilled with the pin 6 inches from my axis with a small hole on my axis. The Slayr is drilled with the pin 5 inches from my axis with a decent sized balance hole. The cg is kicked way right on both balls. My thoughts were the following. Sonic X gets 2-3 feet more length due to the drilling and this allows me to play much straighter put if I get to fast with the speed I left a lot of weak tens. If I moved in with my feet (feet on 25) and kept the same target (10) and slow looped it the ball was great. As long as I got it to 10. If I got to slow this ball really bounced and was either a split or a crossover. Pocket carry percentage was great, but if I neglected my speed (too fast or slow) strikes were few and far between.
With the Slayr I was able to move much deeper standing 35-40 and swinging the entire lane (30 to 8) with awesome recovery and even better hit. The Slayr goes a little earlier than the Sonic X but the hit on the Slayr is far superior. The Slayr has more backend and better hit but was less controllable for me for the simple fact that when the lanes are dry I would like to play straight and the Sonic X let me do that. Hope this helps.
