What's the good word?
« on: August 14, 2013, 08:20:21 PM »
Been a busy trade show season, how are you guys liking the new stuff? I've been on the shelf with a bad back since April. Tried rushing my rehab a few times, didn't have much success. Bowling a few regionals in the next 2 months, so far the Meanstreak Beatdown is my favorite ball out of the bunch!

I've been down in the abck also and have bowled very little this summer so I haven't bought any of the new balls yet. Meanwhile I am still in love with my Nexxxus, Versa-Max, and Meanstreak. One of the best 3 ball combinations I have ever had for the conditions I bowl on.

Nick, just wait til you're in your fifties!!

I've been bowling the WTBA sport patterns all summer, so the Beatdown has been a versatile piece to have. The Mystic is clean with a big move off friction, but within a short time I will use them on some house shots and review in more detail.

Still loving the Meanstreak and the Brawler, while the original Aura has been a great match for me.  The Beatdown may give it a run for it's money though. Time will tell...

Still loving my Ringer! Been waiting to switch my Aura over to the Bill Hall Tri Grip so I can get it back out on the lanes.

Been trying to justify a Strike King but you know my trusty Gold Rhino Pro is so good on the light to mediums. So much that the Meanstreak never sees any lane time.

Yeah the Ringer is a nice ball, but so is the Brawler. But, I have to say, I know its discontinued but the Maxxed Out is Money that ball blends so many patterns out except for light to dry of course. I am really impressed with that ball.

Besides Maxxed out, for the newer stuff I really like all three that I have Brawler, Ringer and Strike King. Looking forward to more in the future.

Well on that note the Versa Max is the best ball I've ever thrown by any manufacturer.  Too bad it's discontinued.  I heard the Marauder Madness is close to it.

Loving my Mystic Aura right now. Tuesday night had 794 with it. I have thrown this ball on everything from 35ft to 45ft patterns. Simply amazing. I have yet to have a Brunswick ball that I could do this with.

The back is something you cannot play around with. Rest as long as possible. Once you mess it up you will have problems for life.

The new Mystic is a great ball. A lot stronger then expected......seriously
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

the mystic is my kind of ball, absolutely love it so far.  i havent had a chance to really throw the beatdown much, other than a few games for testing purposes, but once league starts im sure that will change.
