i bought a twisted fury solid and an ultra zone to replace my copperhead and my swarm. despite changing the surfaces on these balls half a dozen times i never saw a reaction i could deal with-----very unusual considering my past luck with powrkoil 18 coverstocks. i'll post my opinions and thoughts on these new balls soon.

I also got an Ultra Zone that I just COULD NOT find a good surface for, I hated it for months. Eventually I put it at 1000 grit, heavily polished and now I love it.

I ended up shining my Copperhead for the best look, and my Swarm is a skid/snap carrying machine.

You replaced two balls with two more potent and also different pieces. Are you just not happy that they do not work the same as the old school PK18 pieces, or do the generally not perform? The Fury and the UZ need both some oil (esp. in the heads) to perform well, and esp. the gap between the Swarm and the UZ is pretty huge. A Twisted Fury might have been a "better" replacement, even though still a tad stronger than the Swarm.
