Forest Green Quantum Cover
« on: November 09, 2005, 01:02:57 PM »
What is the cover on the old original Forest Green Quantum. I bought my ball in 1994 and I still use it today and is as strong (good) today as it was the day it was NIB. Can someone tell me what cover is on this ball?

It is supposed to be one of the Proactive resins at that time

For anyone that is interested, here is a message I received from Bill Orlikowski of Brunswick this morning.....

The coverstock on the Forrest Green Quantum was "Reactive". Meaning we didn't have a name for it other than reactive. It was the same cover we used on the Purple Rhino Pro and the Teal Rhino Pro. Strength wise it was like a PK 16 two steps less than the Danger Zone.
The Core was a Medium Low RG with an 0.032 differential.

A ball in our current line for overall hook might be the BVP Punisher but the arc shape with the Punisher will be more skid - snap on the backend.
