Smokin Inferno/Absolute Inferno
« on: November 29, 2005, 01:25:34 PM »
I was wondering if about the reaction of the SI and the AI. I hear from everyone that the SI has one hell of an angle to its reaction. I throw a med-rev, stroker, medium fast ball. I was wondering if that about the SI was true. Also, does the AI do the same?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks

apples and oranges really.
absolute is med/heavy oil ball with a hard even arc

smokin' definatly skids though the heads and jumps off the dry backend.
more of a light/med oil ball.

Sounds like your style is similar to mine. My Smokin' is one of the best balls in my bag. The entry angle is amazing, and hitting power and carry is unmatched in my opinion. If you get one you won't be disapointed.

Also, what kind of lanes do you shoot on? I bowl in multiple leagues and I am also on my High school bowling team. Since we are #1 in the state, we shoot in 16 different houses throughout Ky. Which ball(AI or SI) do think is most forgiving?

Thanks

I bowl in an old wood house and new synthetic houses for travel league, and it's a killer on both. It's very forgiving since it revs hard and hits very hard.

Its hard to play with an inferno and not get burned. Last time I threw my inferno, the opposing bowler definitely got burned.
