anyone else find that the si only seems to work when the track has been played in quite a bit, then moving deeper and kicking it out into worn area. fresh oil it sucks, broken down heads and carrydown it seems to excel. weird.

Generally, most pearlized balls are better when there is earlier friction!

slow it down and its a monster on fresh shots from what I have seen. I watched one on a fresh oiled pair with a guy throwing ~14mph and it was nuts, but a guy with a paridigm (really designed for more oil) throwing 17-18 also had his ideal reaction, just indicating to me that the smoking would not handle that much oil if it were really thrown at a "normal" pace. Anyway you look at it, its a nice ball when it matches up!

yeah i experimented (sp) using it on the 1st game it doesnt hook up as good. so i use my Absolute. it works great. pull out Smokin' 2nd and 3rd game instant hook-in-the-box

Ditto. I have been noticing that for a while, but i havent really done anything about it.

Its hard to play with an inferno and not get burned. Last time I threw my inferno, the opposing bowler definitely got burned.

When I can really swing mine out, it shines the best. If I get it out past 5 or so, it flies back to the pocket. This is a very versitle ball. Now that I have an Absolute and a Strike Zone, it should be a great combo.

My Smokin is the ball I pull out during the third game of my second shift league. I've even seen this baby over react on occaision.
