Smoking Inferno Question.
« on: January 25, 2006, 06:58:50 PM »
I want to know if the Smoking Inferno is considered an oil ball, a medium, or a medium dry lane ball....

I use my Original Inferno on most fresh shots, but what I am wondering is this... If I drill a Smoking Inferno with a decent length type pattern, will this be a good go to ball when my OI is reacting to soon and I am forced to play 20 to 7 with my OI?

Also do the Smoking and Original Inferno have almost the same ball reaction.... I know the SI has more snap, but does the Smoking inferno get enough length for dry back ends?

I got a used SI and had it re-drill to 2L. I tried it in our house medium oil lane. I like the reaction that the ball is giving and in the third game, I have a score of 242, my best so far. It will definitely be my first ball out of the bag in tonight league. Just my two cents worth...later

i had mine drilled pin down sith cg kicked left of thumb and i have med high revs.  Bout the only condition i couldnt play on flood anywhere from med heavy to medlight i could use this ball i thought it was the most versatile of all the infernos if you had any revs whatsoever.  This is my favorite inferno to date except for the OI of course.

In my opinion the SI is a cool option if the pattern is not above medium oil or too long. Important thing is that the backend is clean.

Pretty good ball to play the track area/outside if you have some hand. Normaly you find here enough dry, so the Smokin will react violently.

Sure, carrydown is a serious problem for this ball - however, I love it.
