So how good is the Big B stuff now

I used to be a Big B supporter but shyed away from them the last couple years. With some of the new releases catching my eye I was just wondering how they would compliment my current Storm/Roto arsenal? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Which Storm and Roto balls do you own? I know their line-up pretty well, but need to see what you're using.

Currently I have a Mutant Cell, Attitude Shift, 2nd Dimension, and a Street Rod Pearl. The new Revolver and Anaconda really have me intereted. Thanks notclay, any help is greatly appreciated.

My guess is that the Revolver will fit between the 2 solids (Mutant, Attitude) and your 2nd Dimension. The Revolver is a very strong, early rolling pearl cover. It really rolls like a solid, but with a little bit more late movement. Oil volume should allow this one to come alive. Drier house shots may require a tweak of the cover.
 
The Anaconda should fit between the 2nd Dimension and the T-Road pearl. This ball can be used by more styles with great luck. A very high performing ball at a modest price point. I hope this helps.

Even the releases from last year are really great. Wild Thing,Ride, and Card plus the Diamondback, and Python to name a few. Any would be great to try and probably available at a great price to do it.

I too was a huge big B fan, but got away from them.
I would say for the most part, they have definitely got the problems worked out down in mexico, and the quality is back up.

i throw alot of stuff and as a fan of the ebonite brands, i must say the relovler and anaconda are the two best brunswick balls i've thrown in a very, very long time. mind you i missed the inferno era, but the haven't been as impressed with a b ball since the danger zone than i was watching those 2 go down the lane.

Ditto for me. Especially back in the days of the Quantums as well as for about 12-15 years leading up to the Quantums. I stayed with Big "B" until they quit making Quantums. Then threw Storm for 3 year or so and have used various companys balls since then. Last 2 Big "B" balls I have owned are the Absolute Inferno and Twisted Fury Pearl. I may start throwing some Big "B" balls again in the near future.

I have thrown the Siege, Rattler, Fury and Twisted Fury.  Loved the Siege, though it is definitely a heavy oil ball.  I threw it on the Shark and the carry from deep inside was better than anything else I tried as long as the oil was heavy enough.  Also loved the Twisted Fury.  I had less success with the other two.  I have noticed that the durability of their coverstocks is superior to anything else I have thrown (Ebonite, Storm and Lane Masters) on the Wood Lanes I bowl on.  My Fury and  Twisted Fury both have 90 or so games on them, but they have no track and I have to look VERY hard to find any scratches.  They look like they have about 5 games on them each.

Depends where you want to fit balls in.The new 4.5 is our new ball in the c system line and really is quite agressive to the dry.Very clean through the front.Revolver Is a good one for more volumes of oil.Very stong pearl with big mid lane.Anaconda is a very versatile ball and will work on a variety of conditions with surface adjustments.Take your pick you will be happy with all three.

I have a C-system 2.5 and while its not a "bad" ball, I find it kinda ordinary.
Nothing really special about it.

I have found a new friend it the Rattler I just punched up. A great ball!

I've been using Brunswick bowling balls for many years and have always had great ball reactions with them whether it was a Danger Zone, an original Inferno, or a C-System 2.5

I had great success with both the 2.5 and the 3.5 last year. I've purchased another 2.5 for the upcoming 2010-2011 season because I feel it's that good. To those who haven't thrown Brunswick in awhile.......you should see what you're missing.
