Soft shell balls
« on: April 28, 2005, 04:14:31 PM »
Hi,

I haven't bowled since I was a kid but was looking for a ball that would encourage my hook.  I have a soft shell ball now and think it's a good ball however I need a 16 pound ball now.

Also, I want a ball that is generally one color.  What is the deal with these balls that look like crap?

Any suggestions?

thanks,
Kevin

i have one comment - get a 15lb, it will hit just as hard but be easier to swing

I need a 16 pound.  Anyone have any other suggestions?  It looks like I will be forced to take one of these new-age ugly balls.  Why is it so hard to find a high performance soft shell ball that is one color?

Here you go Color and Performance tried and true.

ALos look around for a Dnyothane Vendetta Black, Pure Hammer, There are still a few solid colored balls that hook.  Those come to mind right away.

Yeah the Goliath looks like a ball im interested. spare bowler sent me a message and Im looking at one of them.  I guess I am talking old technology and I was really into bowling when Pete Webber just came on to the scene and when he was normal- now he's just a jackass!

Have a nice day
