Rampage is to strong to use for a dry lane ball I use a purple vibe smooth and controlable arc. Great for dry lanes.

I use my rampage when I need to get through the dried out heads. It has very nice length to it and a nice late turn which is nice when they dry out. It also doesnt over react and its turn to the pocket is pretty even.

The Punisher polished up pretty good, is a real good dry ball. Or you  can use the tropical storm.

I love my Punisher for dry lanes....clean through the heads, has lots of energy downlane, and hits very hard.

Yea the Punisher hits hard. You swing the ball or play down and in. It still hits the pocket.

while you could use a rampage on dry lanes there arwe better choices. a bvp punisher or a power groove dry/r would be two good bets.

Don't worry Casey (BrunswickBowler123) doesn't have high revs. They are very low. We bowl on youth tour together.

Just purchased a Lane Masters Straight Flush. Advertised as a dry lane condition ball.  It is just that.

Depends on what you mean by "dry," and how you like to play them when they get that way.

If "dry" means a torched track but with some buildup inside, you *could* use the Rampage by getting your feet deep and playing from the oil to the dry.  IME the Rampage has the guts to make it back.

If "dry" means a more uniform breakdown, where moving inside doesn't give you free skid, then the Rampage would be out of its element.

Agreed.

Everyone has there own opinion on "dry" lanes.

Making a simple release change on your rampage could make it all the better when the lanes break down as well, instead of changing balls. Its something you have to practice though.
