Anyone out there that have an idea what ball today can be compared with the Speed Zone?

I have a pearlized SZ Blue Vapor and would like to find either a solid Speed Zone or something that's similar..
I know that the SZ ball is from 1997...

a similar core match up would be the Lane Masters World Class. I don't know a coverstock match up.

I've had both. I think, with both in box surface condition, the WC particle is earlier and handles more oil.
Probably a polished Wizard, Nemesis or RS-X is closer.

True, polished Wizard would get you close. IMO a Monster Bruiser would get you even closer.

not up to date on the big b stuff, but how closely would the red zone be to the solid speed zone? similar diff numbers, a light scuffing of the red zone cover may get you pretty close to the look of the speed zone, IIRC the few speed zone solids I have seen were balls that read the mids well, and had a nice hared continuation on the back (ala the new zones of today?) so mathing up the coverstock prep and a proper drilling should get you pretty close
