Speed Zone?
« on: December 31, 2006, 08:03:14 AM »
I tried searching, but the search apparently did not feel like cooperating and gave me no results no matter what I tried.  So, does anyone still have a speed zone that they still use?  I have mine sitting around looking depressed, so I figured I might put it back in the bag after setting it to my new grip specs.  However, I really don't know how this ball will behave on modern conditions so I'm wondering if anyone has an idea of what this pup will do nowadays.  I know layout is important but I'm going after basic ball motion.  Any ideas?

It's awesome. I have one that's almost new. Unfortunately, its 15, and I'm only throwing 14 now.
I'd love to have one I could use!

It's not the biggest hook monster in the house, but it is a very good performer!

To the previous two posters, i'm sure he appreciates your posts but hes asking about the reaction the ball gave you on todays patterns, which you eluded to answer in your posts, try reading the whole post next time.

My buddy is still throwing one thats had too many games on it, pretty rough but it still works on medium-light patterns, giving him a pretty strong roll and pretty smooth arcing action on the backend with a pretty solid hit, not great but better than alot of the balls out there, overall not a ton of ground covered but hes a lower rev medium+ speed guy and the ball is pretty old.
