I have a really nice drilling on my Intense that I really like. How would the two balls compare if they are drilled the same way? Does it matter what the drilling is? If it does I'll post the drilling.

They both are long and strong, but the SI will handle more oil. IMO

He hit the nail on the head. The SI will be stronger on any condition than the II. They could be a good 1-2 punch depending on the drillings.

My Intense never really impressed me much. But to me, the Smokin' is 10X's the ball the II is. But drilled right it would be a good twosome.

From your track, it looks like your II is layed out with almost a 4 to 4.5" pin-pap distance which makes it pretty strong. Sam, are you looking to replace the II or just complement it?

Complement it. I would never replace it. I want to be able to play deeper than I was saturday. By just a few boards so that I could adjust a little better.

Granted you have a totally different style Donnie, the II in your hands will never do what it did in Sam's. It's all about release and speed. Sam's form generates a lot of revs and a wicked backend. I dont know how he does it. Your release is almost like mine Donnie, I cant get most balls to snap like Sam can.

When I have to open up the lane, I'm gonna have trouble doing so but when the lanes dictate straighter projectories, guess who's gonna have the better look. The only way to get the II to snap harder than your SI, would be drill it with a farther pin distance from pap, and raise it above the finger holes. Your SI almost drilled leverage gets way down the lane before it turns and an II, being weaker by nature added with a longer and more angular drilling, will cause it to skid too long in our house. You can get your SI to snap, your just gonna have to work on a new release and adding more revs to your game.
