St. Louis Brunswick 2 Ball Challenge
« on: March 19, 2008, 03:24:49 AM »
Was wondering if any BR members will be bowling this Summer at Lakeside in St. Louis.  All bowlers get, and must only use, the Twisted Fury and Sidewinder.  I plan on trying my first Rico on the Twisted.
Shot will be on PBA patterns.

I do the exact some one but it is the on at Brunswick Zone Chesterfield.  I did it last year where it was the Fury and Radical.  I believe this year will be Viper and Cheetah.  I was going to Rick my Sidewinder and stack leverage my twisted and probably put some polish on it.  It is a fun, yet expensive league.

I didn't bowl last year as I really didn't want the Radical.  I bowled the year before and got the Scorchin and Ambush (sport shot that year).  I never really used the Scorchin much, but have always loved the Ambush on most house shots.  The bridge has cracked out, and I'm hoping the Sidewinder will be the perfect replacement for it.  I think the Twisted will be good but was really hoping they were going to have the Ultra Zone.  Good luck at Chesterfield.

im going to be both of them this year. Lakeside is much better because of the surface alone   four seasons surface is like a crown

four seasons has pro anvil and lakeside has anvil, which is much softer and easier.  also, i think four seasons patters are 2 feet longer.  aren't they both on wed nights?  how can you do both?

No sir, by the time I heard about it, it was a few weeks in.  I went and practiced over there a good amount of times after the league had ended for the night.

four seasons is on wednesday and lakeside is on thurdays  and the patterns as i was told have not been determined they will be voted on the first night.  i know i will strongly voting against the cheetah pattern  because four seansons surrface is a crown almost impossible to play the ditch when your ball falls off the cliff.  the shark might be interesting

If anyone is interested in bowling in a PBA Experience league where you don't have to buy bowling balls, consider the one at Arnold Bowl.  I did it last summer, and there is no prize fund, but only $10 per week.  You bowl 4 games and move to a different pair after each game.  Lane surface is wood with Guradian overlay to the arrows.  It will be on Tuesday or Thursday nights.
