Strike Zone a legit replacement?

to the scorchin inferno? have a ZC and RZ right now, as well as a scorchin. my question is this, would the strike zone be able to handle as much oil as the scorchin? the reason i want to do this is that i'm a HUGE fan of the Zone core, and if i can build an arsenal of ball around that core i will.

I do not own one...but I've seen them used locally and on the protour!

My observation is like most mass bias balls the Strike zone can change it's shape of reaction dramatically by where one puts the mass bias....while the scorchin will be even and strong in heavier oil concentrations as a general rule.

From my eyes....the majority of drillings for the strike zone(except the mass bias kicked out early drillings)....the Strike zone will have a slightly longer look and then a little more kick down lane than the Scorching.

The notable time I saw them rolled on teh same lanes on the protour was the Ultimate inferno(scorchin predecessor) rolled by Dave Traber on a show and then finally near the end of the match he went to the Strike zone and starting kicking out 10 pin on a shot that did not seem to respond well to his Ultimate Inferno which forced him to aim more away from the pocket in the early part of the lane than the Strike Zone.

I own a Strike Zone and the Scorchin' Inferno. My personal observations are that the Strike Zone is much more angular at the breakpoint, whereas the Scorchin' is strong, but smooth.

I really love the Strike Zone, and feel that for the past year and a half, it's truly one of the best balls from ANY company. I leave mine dull and have never found too much oil for this ball. I'd highly recommend this one.
