Ultimate Inferno and Zone Classic questions
« on: December 17, 2007, 02:19:42 AM »
Hi!

Quick questions:

1. If I was to replace my trusted Ultimate Inferno, would the Fury be the natural choice from the high-performance line?

2. What's the natural replacement for the Zone Classic?

Thanks!

1. But the Fury is probably more ball overall than the UI was. More hook and more versatile.

2.The Vapor Zone

The only thing that is ever going to replace a Classic Zone is another Classic. That ball rolls different than any other ball ever made. If you want to replace the Classic, buy another Classic!

Don't even go there!!! If they decide to remake the Zone Classic i'll go broke.. I've already had 4 and also the Red Pin.. All in 16 lbs.. I've thrown 15 lbs for about a year now.. Honest to God.. If they would ever come back i'd buy 20 of them..

No ball from Big B like it ever since..

I like sneaking my brother's green pin Zone Classic out of the house every once in a while to throw

I would say Fury as well, and like the others say, i've never seen any other ball roll like the Zone Classic. The closest you can probably buy is a Brunswick ball with a similar core, or something like that.

We've still got about 8 red pin Zone Classics left. All are NIB and 15 lbs.

$85 shipped within the continental U.S. Send me a PM if you'd like one.

By the way, the Vapor is stronger but an awesome ball.

I retired my Classic Zone, replacing it with a Vapor Zone, yes it is a few boards stronger, but still a great ball and I get very similar reaction.

Not sure about the inferno replacement, but looking at the numbers, I agree with Inverted, the twisted looks very close to the classic
